Maximum sustained winds 40 knots gusting to 50 knots

Winds of 34 knots or higher occur within 45 to 90 miles of the centre

Carlos will slowly reintensify, whilst moving southwest. The storm will pass near La Reunion After day or so, the system will veer southeast whilst peaking at 70 knots, weakening thereafter.
