FINAL WARNING

02W is approaching landfall in the central Philippines. This will cause the system to weaken, and although it will reemerge over open waters on Monday, regeneration is not thought to be very likely.

Tropical cyclone warning signal #1 is in force in the Luzon provinces of Sorsogon, Burias island, Romblon, Masbate including Ticao island ; and in the Visayas provinces of Aklan, Antique, Iloilo, Capiz, Northern Cebu, Northern Negros Occidental, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte and Southern Leyte.


PLEASE NOTE: Although JTWC has issued its final warning on this system, PAGASA is keeping its warning signals raised for as long as the remnant area of low pressure continues to pose a threat to Philippine islands. This site will not issue further output on 02W unless regeneration occurs.
