Location 295 miles SW of the southern tip of Baja California
Movement 290° (WNW) at 9 knots
Maximum sustained winds 35 knots gusting to 45 knots
Winds of 34 knots or higher occur within 35 miles to the north of the centre
Minimum central pressure: 1005 mbar
Threatened landmasses NONE

Dora has continued to weaken as it passes into the open Pacific. The storm is expected to dissipate later today. 

Regional warnings
Life-threatening surf and riptide conditions could occur along the southwestern coast of Mexico as well as in southern Baja California.
