Location 1405 miles WSW of the southern tip of Baja California
Movement 285° (WNW) at 10 knots
Maximum sustained winds 110 knots gusting to 135 knots
Winds of 34 knots or higher occur within 105 miles of the centre

Fernanda will continue to move westnorthwest whilst maintaining current strength. A weakening trend will commence after today. 

As this system is expected to pass west of 140W as a tropical cyclone, the Central Pacific Hurricane Center will take over the issuance of warnings at that point.
