Greg will continue to move west and is expected to slowly weaken. The storm will dissipate after two days, near 140W.

HURRICANE Hilary / 09E

Hilary will move generally westnorthwest. The system will steadily intensify, reaching 115 knots after two days. A weakening trend will then commence. The storm could show some interaction with Irwin (see below) late in the forecast period.

Irwin will move west, whilst strengthening to 70 knots. There is a possibility of interaction with Hilary towards the end of the 5-day forecast period.

NORTHWESTERN PACIFIC OCEAN

Noru is moving east on its loop motion that will occur over the next few days. The system will intensify to 95 knots, before weakening as it once more travels southwest. A limited interaction with Kulap is anticipated.

Sonca is now moving west, and will pass to the south of Hainan Island, whilst intensifying to 50 knots. The storm will make landfall in Vietnam tomorrow.
