Hilary will move generally westnorthwest. The system will weaken slowly over the next few days as and after it merges with Irwin.

Irwin is quasi-stationary at the moment, but will start to move north later today, as Hilary approaches. Irwin will then circle round the other cyclone, until it dissipates. 

NORTHWESTERN PACIFIC OCEAN

TYPHOON Noru / 07W

Noru is moving southwest. The storm will maintain current intensity before restrengthening to 75 knots. After two days, Noru will veer round to the northwest and start to weaken.

Nesat is approaching landfall in Taiwan later today. The storm will then make final landfall in China, and dissipate inland, west of Shanghai.

Haitang is moving northeast, pass close to western Taiwan and make landfall in mainland China south of Shanghai. The system will eventually merge with 11W.
