Noru is moving northeast and will make landfall in Shikoku and Honshu later today (Monday). The storm will then turn extra-tropical.

Disturbance 07L has been declared as a potential tropical cyclone, and will track westnorthwest to the Yucatan Peninsula. After traversing that landmass, the cyclone will reemerge over the Gulf of Campeche, where it will strongly reintensify, potentially reaching hurricane strength before making landfall on the Mexican Gulf coast.

A tropical storm watch is in force from Belize City to the border of Mexico.
Rainfall totals of 3 to 6, locally up to 12 inches, can be expected over the Yucatan Peninsula, giving rise to potentially life-threatening flash floods.
