Ophelia is moving eastnortheast, later northeast. The storm will weaken a little, to 80 knots, over the next few days, before becoming extra-tropical southwest of Ireland. The extra-tropical cyclone will pass close to Ireland and Scotland with stormforce if not hurricane force winds. 

Regional warnings
Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches could fall over the southeastern Azores, with 1 to 3 inches elsewhere in the archipelago. Flooding could result.
