Leslie is moving eastnortheast and will pass north to Madeira Island. Beyond that, the storm will continue to weaken and become extra-tropical before making landfall in the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula, near the Straits of Gibraltar.

A tropical storm WARNING is in force for Madeira Island (for the first time in history).
Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches (50 to 100 mm) are possible across southern Portugal and Spain on Sunday
Life-threatening surf and riptide conditions are affecting the Azores, Madeira and the Canaray Islands. These could spread to the coasts of Portugal, Spain and Morocco over the weekend.

Sergio is moving northeast and is crossing the Sea of Cortez. The storm will pass rapidly into northwestern Mexico, where it will dissipate.

Rainfall totals of 3 to 5, locally up to 8, inches could fall in central Baja California Sur and Sonora in Mexico. Life-threatening flash floods and mudslides could occur. The US states of Arizona and New Mexico in the USA, spreading to the southern Plains can expect 1 to 3 inches.
